Wow. It's been a while since I've posted! Been up to a few things...
The debut of my new short poetic film, Black Sprang, was presented at wonderful Brown University.
The audience was delightful and the conversation with the excellent Matthew Shenoda was amazing.
I'll miss visiting Brown as Visiting Professor of Practice at the Brown Arts Institute. It was a superlative experience.
I have a couple of books on the way. Will post an update as soon as the ETA is confirmed.
Meanwhile, thanks for checking in on this little site! I'm not gonna lie and say I'll be *great* at posting,
but I will be a bit better than I have been over the last three years! Thanks again for checking in. More on the way.

Well, like everyone else, I'm kinda on hiatus in terms of live gigs.
I've opted out from doing improvisational sound poetry live until I'm in the room with others, in the same air.
I consider my sound poetry to be collaborations with the audience.
So writing, teaching, some miscellaneous virtual conferencing, like everyone else. Also being grateful for anything and everything good in the world when so many have needlessly lost so much.
I hope that, if you're reading this, you and yours are doing okay.
We'll get through this, as my elders used to say: "God willing and the creek don't rise. "
(and if the creek *does* rise, I hope we still get through).
